When inclusive insurance takes centre stage: The Microinsurance Network’s 2025 highlights
2025 marked the year when inclusive insurance took centre stage in global discourse on resilience and financial inclusion. That shift was symbolised by Radiant Yacu’s win of the European Microfinance Award, but it was also reflected in a broader transformation within the Microinsurance Network (MiN) itself. Over the year, the MiN strengthened its regional presence, expanded its membership, and deepened member-led collaboration across Africa, Asia and Latin America and the Caribbean. This article looks back at some of the key moments of 2025 and ahead to what 2026 has in store.
