International Conference on Inclusive Insurance
Formerly known as the International Microinsurance Conference (IMC), this is the event in the inclusive insurance calendar and has taken place every year since 2005, bringing together hundreds of delegates and speakers from around the world. The conference is co-organised with the Munich Re Foundation and local partners and is a catalyst for the growth of inclusive insurance markets in the host country.
The International Conference on Inclusive Insurance (ICII) 2024 will take place from 21-25 October 2024 and will be hosted by the Nepal Insurance Association, Life Insurance Association Nepal, and the Nepal Insurance Authority in cooperation with the Munich Re Foundation and the Microinsurance Network.
Call for proposals
To cover subjects that are currently of interest, the conference organisers are calling for proposals on the following topics:

- ICII 2024 pitching session
- Digital solutions for inclusive insurance
- New inclusive insurance products or partnerships in the fields of…
… health or hospital cash
… funeral insurance or family financial support covers after breadwinner death
… (micro) pensions - Coping with climate and pandemic risks
- Enabling (regulatory) environment
- Gender-sensitive inclusive insurance
- Consumer education: build capacities of people, societies and institutions
- Looking back: successes and failures in inclusive insurance
- Learnings from scientific research

The ICII 2023 took place from 23-27 October 2023 in Accra, Ghana and was hosted by the National Insurance Commission of Ghana (NIC), the Ghana Insurers Association (GIA) and the Insurance Brokers' Association of Ghana (IBAG) in cooperation with the Munich Re Foundation and the Microinsurance Network.
