ILO-MiN webinar series Learning from the Leaders

The “Learning from the Leaders” webinar series, organised by the Microinsurance Network and the ILO Impact Insurance Facility, with support from the Generation Foundation, brought together experts from across the inclusive insurance sector.

The series combined six webinars, each dedicated to a different key topic within the inclusive insurance industry. Participants had the opportunity to learn directly from industry leaders, gaining insights, practical experiences, and forward-looking perspectives on advancing financial protection for underserved populations.

Webinar 1: Improving Profitability | 25 February 2025

The inaugural webinar, titled Improving Profitability took place on 25 February 2025. It provided a platform to discuss the obstacles faced by inclusive insurers and present practical strategies to enhance financial sustainability in the sector.

The one-hour session included a brief introduction, presentations by Quentin Gisserot (AXA EssentiALL) and Lorenzo Chan (Pioneer Insurance), and a Q&A. The event was moderated by Lisa Morgan (The ILO's Impact Insurance Facility).
