Women's World Banking is seeking a microinsurance actuary/consultant for a period of one to two years to be a thought partner in developing sustainable microinsurance solutions by providing inputs on the actuarial prouct design and analysis of the organisation's microinsurance programmes across multiple countries, including products in life, health and savings.
The consultant is expected to deliver inputs for research, product design, RFPs for insurer selection including during negotiations with insurance companies, setting up the delivery model, among other services, and should be a certified actuary with at least ten years of experience in the insurance industry, as well as a successful track record of projects in microinsurance.
The consultancy can be based out of anywhere, however international travel to places such as Nigeria and India might be required depending on the scope of work.
