ICII 2023: Call for proposals

 

Proposals for the International Conference on Inclusive Insurance (ICII) taking place in Accra, Ghana from 23 to 27 October 2023 are now being accepted! The conference will be jointly hosted by the National Insurance Commission of Ghana (NIC), the Ghana Insurance Association (GIA) and the Insurance Brokers’ Association of Ghana (IBAG) in cooperation with the Munich Re Foundation and the Microinsurance Network. Proposal submissions should cover the following topics: 

• The business model for inclusive insurance
• Digital solutions for inclusive insurance
• New inclusive insurance products or partnerships: 1) in the fields of health or hospital cash; 2) in the fields of credit life or funeral insurance; 3) in the field of (micro) pensions
• Coping with climate and pandemic risks
• Enabling (regulatory) environment
• Gender-sensitive inclusive insurance
• Consumer education: build capacities of people, societies and institutions
• Looking back: successes and failures in inclusive insurance (in cooperation with the fifth special issue of The Geneva Papers on Risk and Insurance on microinsurance)
• Learnings from scientific research
• ICII 2023 pitching session

All submissions should be sent by 3 May 2023.
