The Grameen Crédit Agricole Foundation´s 2014 Annual Report is now available for download.

Per the end of last year, the Foundation´s microfinance commitments amounted to €32 million - double compared to the previous year. The "Take off African Microfinance Facility" was implemented to combine financial and technical assistance in supporting a greater number of rural and agricultural microfinance institutions in Sub-Saharan Africa. In 2014, 11 institutions benefited from this innovative scheme, which was developed in partnership with the French Development Agency (AFD).

The Foundation has expanded its commitment in the field of agricultural microinsurance, with over 230,000 small farmers benefitting from insurance coverage in Kenya and Rwanda alone, in 2014. Furthermore, the Foundation is committed to social business and the launch of an investment fund. It holds stakes in 12 businesses, with the main aim being to give the poorest populations access to essential goods and services, or create inclusive value chains in favour of local producers.
