Philippines country workshop: Nature-positive insurance: the upside for people, planet and business
We are delighted to invite you to the Philippines country workshop "Nature-positive insurance: the upside for people, planet and business", taking place virtually on Monday, 26 September 2022 from 9:00-11:00 CEST / 15:00-17:00 PST.
The event will be hosted by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), the Insurance Development Forum (IDF) and the Microinsurance Network (MiN), with the support of AM Best and the Philippine Insurers and Reinsurers Association (PIRA).
This workshop brings together local and international experts and practitioners to share the initial experiences in the archipelago and global best practices that may help to provide answers to the following questions:
- Why does nature protection matter for the insurance business in general, and specifically in the Philippines?
- What are some inspiring examples and first steps of Nature-Positive Insurance projects globally and locally?
- How can existing good practices reach scale and be replicated?
