The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Microinsurance Network are pleased to invite you to attend a special event, “Bridging Gaps, Building Futures: Microinsurance in 2023 and the Path to the SDGs” where our flagship publication the Landscape of Microinsurance 2023 will also be launched.
The event will take place from 10:00 - 12:00 CEST, Thursday, 2 May 2024 followed by a networking lunch (sponsored by AM Best) at Centre du Domaine de la Pastorale, Geneva, Switzerland. In-person attendance is by invitation only, while virtual attendance is open to all and is completely free of charge.
The event will bring together the senior leadership from the insurance industry, governments, donors, and the development community to have a substantive discussion on the important role played by insurance in social and economic development and how effective and reliable data collection is key for impactful decision-making. It will be referencing data and insights from the Landscape of Microinsurance study, with its latest edition jointly financed by UNDP, Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, the Luxembourg Ministry of Finance, AXA Emerging Customers, Barents Re Reinsurance Company, Munich Re Foundation, Swiss Re Foundation, the Insurance Federation of Egypt and Aon (Philippines).
We hope to see you at the event, and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at info@microinsurancenetwork.org.
