Gaby Ramm is a Member/Advisory Board of the Munich Climate Insurance Initiative (MCII) hosted by the UN University.
Since 2001 she has been working as a senior advisor to the GIZ, the UN and the insurance industry with a focus on comprehensive risk management strategies in more than 15 countries. She managed Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) microinsurance projects in collaboration with the Munich Re and the Allianz Group.
For 17 years she worked as GIZ Programme Director in India and as the Representative of the Friedrich Naumann in Nepal and Pakistan (projects in poverty alleviation incl. microinsurance and microfinance, rural development, industrial relations, social security, and training of environmental journalists).
She is a founding member of the Microinsurance Network and the facilitator of the Capacity Building WG, and was a Steering Committee member of the ILO Impact Insurance Facility.
