International Microinsurance Conference (IMC)
As a replacement for the 2020 conference the organisers will be organising an online event from 2 to 6 November 2020. The proposals submitted for the 2020 confernce will be reviewed by the steering committee and selected speakers will be invited to be part of the online event.
Because of the restrictions and uncertanties related to Covid-19 the 16th International Conference on Inclusive Insurance (ICII) has been cancelled and will take place in Jamaica October/November 2021 (date TBC).

The 16th ICII will be hosted by the Insurance Association of Jamaica (IAJ), in cooperation with the Munich Re Foundation and the Microinsurance Network.
Around 400 experts from 40+ countries will discuss and identify ways of accelerating growth and economic viability in inclusive insurance for emerging markets. Representatives from insurance and reinsurance companies, brokers, distribution channels, technology providers, investment funds, international organisations, NGOs and development aid agencies, as well as academics, policymakers and insurance supervisors will exchange views on current growth trends and risks in emerging markets and discuss key factors for successful implementation and maximised business opportunities to bring supply and demand to the next level.
The submission for proposals is now being accepted until 22 May 2020.
Registration for the conference will open in August.
