The upcoming Microinsurance Learning Sessions, hosted by the ILO's Impact Insurance Facility, the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Kenya (IRA), Munich Re Foundation and AB Consultants, with support of the Microinsurance Network, the African Insurance Organisation (AIO), Making Finance Work for Africa (MFW4A) and the Center for Financial Regulation and Inclusion (Cenfri), will have a focus on "Microinsurance business models for Africa".

The event, to be held in Mombasa, Kenya on April 6 and 7, will gather over 100 international, regional and local experts and practitioners of the industry, and will include training and plenary sessions aimed at sharing insights on key topics, which include successes and challenges in microinsurance, client value, health microinsurance, agriculture microinsurance, distribution strategy and business modelling, as well as consumer education.
