Expert Forum (EF)
“If I had an hour to solve a problem I'd spend 55 minutes thinking about the problem and 5 minutes thinking about solutions.” - (not) Albert Einstein
Building a great microinsurance solution requires a deep understanding of the risks and needs of the customers you want to serve. But how do you get started? What are some of the proven techniques that work for microinsurance? In this highly interactive Expert Forum, participants won’t only listen, but engage with and contribute to workshopping a customer research scenario that can be adopted for your organisation.
Why do you need to get to know your customer? What do you ask your clients? What to watch out for in customer interviews?
Join us on Thursday, 15 April from 3-4:30pm CEST to discuss the real competition of microinsurance, why empathy matters, Design Thinking for microinsurance and how to build solutions from the insights gained to protect your customers from the risks they face.
This Expert Forum workshop will be run by Bert Opdebeeck, Founder of Microinsurance Master, the sector's first accelerator programme, with the support of Tyler Tappendorf, a Senior Design Researcher at 17 Triggers - a behaviour change lab that uses Human-Centered Design (HCD) to help companies create more customer-centric products and services.
