Diana Urbani holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science with a specialisation in Globalisation from the University of Lausanne. Furthermore, she is a Certified Expert in Microinsurance by Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. Diana has worked in the public, as well as private sector in various countries such as Germany, Kazakhstan, Mexico and Switzerland where she was involved in projects related to public policy, education, resilience and microinsurance. In January 2015, she started to work at CelsiusPro in Zurich. In her role as Microinsurance/Climate Insurance Expert, she is responsible for a variety of projects related to weather risk management, especially in the field of microinsurance. These projects involve several stakeholders such as re(insurers), microfinance institutions, multinational institutions and governmental organisations. One of her main tasks is the management of the Technical Assistance Facility of the Climate Insurance Fund on behalf of KfW.
