The 4th Eastern and Southern Africa Regional Learning Sessions on the theme of "Inclusive insurance - Business models for Africa", which will be held in Kigali, Rwanda on 29-30 August is expected to assemble around 100 international and regional practitioners and experts in the microinsurance field, to exchange experiences and discuss a number of key topics on inclusive insurance business.
Covering a wide array, from mobile microinsurance and the application of technology, consumer education, health and agricultural microinsurance, as well as regulation and inclusive insurance market development, among others, this event will put the spotlight on key, pertinent topics within the microinsurance space, with the aim of sharing insights on sector business models for low-income market segments in Africa.
The conference will be organised and hosted by Access to Finance Rwanda (AFR), the Munich Re Foundation and the Rwanda Insuers Association (ASSAR), with support from the ILO's Impact Insurance Facility, Cenfri, Finanical Sector Deepening Africa (FSDA), A2ii and the Network.
Early registration is still open for just over two weeks and closes on 4 August. Late registration resumes from 5 August.
